DYK that coconut oil
can may or may not be used as a sunscreen? I had heard that coconut oil (by itself) could be applied as a natural sun protection so I decided to do a little research... but alas, my googling returned nothing (substantial nor definitive) of the sort.

Yet, still my efforts weren't in vain as I did find out that there are many possible benefits and uses for this neat smelling goop. I try to find the most reputable mainstream sources to validate ideas but (with some non-extensive efforts) was unsuccessful. I did find however, many claims of it helping everything from stuff inside/outside the house (cleaner, automotive, insect control, etc.) to things inside/outside our bodies (digestive, brain, skin, etc.).
For this installment of NYD let us know what uses you've found or heard of... we'd love to hear from you! I am currently trying it out on dry skin. I'll let you know how it turns out. Pretty good for a d00d eh?... I'm just glad that the "foo-foo" smell goes away as I might start gettin' some weird looks/comments from the fellas at work. o_O
{BTW, my apologies for getting this published late. Perhaps I should try coconut oiling some of the gears in the ol noggin. =0}

I've been using it as a moisturizer and Shadow thinks I'm food now...ha ha ha. I'm loving the fragrance.
