You Breathe Your Love and New Life Into Me Through the Pain

Jesus, I think of my pain and how You continuously breathe new life into me
When pain of discouragement threatens to dry up my hope...You breathe life words, I know what I'm doing. “I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jeremiah 29:11
When the pain of another is deflected upon me in false judgement...You breathe forgiveness into my heart...”Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer...” Matthew 5:43-48
When my body is aching, tired, and drained from the pain of life...You breathe simple joys and wonders and lift my soul again. Simple joys and wonders I find through the lens of your eyes and the photos fill me time and time again.

Jesus, I think of your pain and it changes my response to life’s pain
Your emotional pain of constant ridicule, false accusation and slander (Luke 22:54-65). You breathe empathy for mine. Hebrews 4:15
Your spiritual pain of abandonment and separation. You breathe, “I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," Hebrews 13:5
Your physical pain of being nailed to that cross like a criminal when you had done nothing. You breathed forgiveness once again. You breathed forgiveness in the pain and prayed, "Father, forgive them; they don't know what they're doing." Luke 23:34

Jesus, I think of your love for me and I can go through, come through, and smile even bigger!
You breathe new life into me and say, "I've never quit loving you and never will.
Expect love, love, and more love! And so now I'll start over with you and build you up again, dear Jeri. You'll resume your singing, grabbing tambourines and joining the dance.” (I put my name in place of Israel and you can too!)
I think of you all, my friends and family, and want to tell you this...
I pray whatever you’re facing, you still find healing and joy. I pray if you’re in a good place you hold on to peace and joy. I pray for all of us that we see our lives as gifts to experience through, be fully alive through, and share in it together. I pray we’ll find love and new life in the pain. Pain does give birth to new.

I am so grateful! Here’s to wild new adventures. Woohoo!!!
