A Refreshing Hope and a Prayer Request

Warning: I have come down with a bad cold and flu so please excuse anything that may not make sense...hee hee. So, I invite you to share your hopes and views on hope in the comments. I need some "lifting up".

God's Dreams For Me is Healing inside and out.

Romans 5:5 Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.
These past five years now those words sing to my whole being that everything truly is possible with God. To be told that there is a hope that never disappoints. Oh, how it waters my soul and refreshes me. This hope will never evade me. It will meet me where I’m at. No grasping or striving. Just receiving that the promise of this hope is for me and you is so amazing!

Here at the playground and in the FaithJam community we are a family. God has shown me so much of His love through all of you. I’m beyond grateful for each one of you. Our conversations in words have brought so much to my life.
Can I ask you to pray? Do not feel pressured in any way. Please do so only pray if you feel it on your heart to.

Our family's prayer requests for healing:
David’s father is coming home today (Thurs, Jan 27, 11). His therapy strengthened his body even more than before he went in! Pray for his continued strengthening and praise for how far he has come.

David, Dad & Mom

David’s Aunty was on a cruise and as a result of a negative reaction to sea sickness medication had a mini stroke. This is her second. She’s back in Hawaii and is in therapy and progressing greatly as you read this. She will be going to stay with my in-laws when she gets back. Please pray for her continued progress.

Aunty C took care of David & his sisters

Caretakers and volunteers: Our whole family has been able to pitch in and help in so many ways. Please pray for stamina, perserverance, joy in serving.
Jeri’s health: Continued strengthening of her immune and digestive system. The progress is unbelievable already.
Flu and colds: Our family, as well as many of your families, has been hit left and right. Pray for us as we pray for you, wellness to continue to help care for our family members.

Thank you so very much for even reading this today. Be blessed in your health, finances, all you put your hands to, and in your life-giving words.

Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls, one can help the other up.

So much love and appreciation from our family to yours.

You all rock! Thank You so much for friendship and prayers. Your life filled words have given me that lift I need.

Ps 16:3 And these God-chose lives all around - what splendid friends they make!

You do indeed!

Father, thank you for the progress David's father has made. Help him to persevere to even better health. Thank you that David's aunt is able to be where she can be cared for. Thank you for providing help and care for this family. Bring health where sickness lingers. Bring joy to those providing care. I ask this in Jesus' name.
