The Beautiful Little Things Today - My Slow Flow

Yesterday, I joined in with Emily at her website Chatting Up The Sky for Tuesdays Unwrapped. She invites everyone to share "whatever caused us to pause and celebrate in this day" and link up our blogs and hers! Very cool... This is my very first Tuesday.

From Emily's bio at her site Chatting Up The Sky:

" - In her song Tuesday, Sarah Masen sings about the tired ending of a too-long day.
Tuesday after a reckless and used day, I was running and running without a chance to stop and chat at the sky. Finally I stopped for a breath in the evening. Suddenly, I was caught by the scenery painting a picture of You.      -Sarah Masen, Tuesday"

Here we go....

It's the little things that happened today:

- Shadow turned his head and gave me this endearing look - it just filled me.

- The neighborhood girls came home from high school and decided to stop and chat about
"whatever" with Aunty Jeri! It was great.

- Having a phone interview turn into an amazing conversation that encouraged me to keep doing what I do

- Somehow watering plants was very soothing today

- Saying "I'm here for you whatever you need" to a close friend who's hurting and being encouraged by them instead.

- Discovering more local vegan and vegetarian authors - Yes, in Hawaii!

An "I love You, Mom" from my 24-year-old - Always cool.

- I love that Unwrapping Tuesdays instills in me a mindfulness to "slow" and recognize what's in my everyday. Now, I can "flow".

Now it's your turn...Yay

Share whatever happened in your day that caused you to pause and be happy. Even if it's just one thing.

Here's a link so you can listen to "Tuesday" by Sarah Masen

Hi Carisa,

Hope your move went smoothly.

We just got new plants. Let's see how green my thumb really is! I couldn't get over just how relaxing it is. The extra is when the smells from the herbs and lavender get strong...aah!

I know those endearing looks from a sweet puppy! Oh how they can warm a heart! :) I love watering my plants, tending to my flowers!

Hi Jennifer,

First, it's so great to meet you here. I'm so glad you came by.

Second, I've been missing out on the garden "therapy" all these years. Even Shadow loves to smell the herbs.

Have a great week and God Bless.
