Discovering Wild Adventures in Life's Craziness

Proverbs 1:6
There’s something here also for seasoned men and women,
still a thing or two for the experienced to learn -
Fresh wisdom to probe and penetrate,
the rhymes and reasons of wise men and women.

Gratefulness opens the door to being refreshed. It reminds us of God’s faithfulness to us in the past and up to now. I’ve chosen to be mindful of His gifts in my every day moments

It has proven to be a powerful arsenal in low days and dark times. Gratefulness of the seemingly every day has become such a beautiful light that outshines and colors the lowly darkness.

I matter outshines I’m not good enough

GodsDreamsForMe are huge replaces my life has no meaning or purpose

Fresh wisdom pierces confusion

New seasons replenish seemingly wasted time

Every year of my life has brought the gifts of challenge and wonder. The challenges has reared ugliness and beauty, weakness and strength. God continually amazes me with the wonder of His love for me and all the dreams He’s still bringing to reality.
I’ll be 46 this year. I’m still healing physically. Yet, as Proverbs 1 says there’s something new and fresh to experience. I interpret the craziness as wild adventures in and with Christ.
I’m writing this while I’m in the middle of low days and dark times. I can tell you without a doubt that gratefulness outshines these days I’m journeying on. It truly does! All this goings on and I had so much fun with my son today.
It’s amazing! I’m being refreshed in each moment, as I lay it at His feet in prayer. I am more than enough because He is more than enough in me. I can, because I have all I need to get through this. I am not alone.
You want to know the craziest wonder of it all? The “worst” was last week! I’m sure I’ll be saying that next week and the next until this is all over. Each week gets better and better.

This verse is more true now than ever -
Jeremiah 30:18
Thanksgiving will pour out the windows;
laughter will spill through the doors.
Things will get better and better.
Depression days are over
Gratefulness, fresh wisdom, and more wild adventures to come. I'm so thankful you're on this  journey with me. Any new joys you've been discovering lately?

Come on over

I LOVE this post because you said -

"I’m writing this while I’m in the middle of low days and dark times."

You just proved that *YOU MATTER*, because you wrote, as you are.

Jeri, you are an encouragement to all of us.
