Tuesdays Unwrapped - My Little Breaks Give Me Big Rewards

Working from home can be challenging in stewarding my time. I can really get caught up in the research, photos, and article and lose time. Especially, because some of the research connects me to people across the country.

I so enjoy reading their replies and the little bits we share back and forth about our families in the middle of all the “work” info.

My necessary little breaks in between each assignment and everyday household chores are so rewarding. Oh, almost forgot my magical timer - helps me to get up, stretch and look away from the computer. Then, back to work...and happily.

Here’s a glimpse into my “today” so far...

Scenery from our back deck

So peaceful and it's cooling off now

Hanging with Shadow

He just loves to look out the window

Shadow thinks this lawn chair is his - it's mine!

Snack break - hee hee

No joke these taste really good. Rice milk latte

Some Wii time - Oh Yeah!

Just shove everything back and move out of the way
This pic is from another Wii day :D

What? You were expecting something deep? LOL.
Today is about fun for me. So I’m unwrapping all of that fun. I even have some Wii championships planned with David when he gets home. He just doesn’t know it yet...heh heh heh ;-D

But, stop the presses. I was just about to hit publish when...

Surprise, Mom!

Reid showed up during his break and cleaned all upstairs and both bathrooms for me. Then, he took Shadow outside to play!!!

Reid' lifeguards and teaches kids to swim. So it's a sight to see a 24-year-old with a swiffer :D
Looks like they had a lot of fun

Hope you had an amazing Tuesday. Please do share your stories and pictures anytime. godsdreamsforme@gmail.com

Great to have you visit here my friend. See on Twitter & FB. Open Source Vegan is a huge blessing.

I worked from home for years and I loved those little breaks, too. I would reward myself for an hour (or half hour - ha!) of straight work by reading a quick blog or checking my personal email.

@Flower Patch Farmgirl - same here. I'd reward myself too. BTW, I really enjoyed your blog. Looking forward to more on farm living. It's my dream. So glad to meet you.
